Where we work in Highlands
Highlands lies on the north-eastern side of Harare along Enterprise Road (now Emmerson Mnangagwa Road), between Newlands and Borrowdale, with Lewisam and Chisipite to the east. Highland Park shopping centre, at Enterprise Road and Arcturus Road, is the main landmark, and the suburb is home to large residential plots and a number of embassies and diplomatic residences.
Some older houses on Enterprise Road now serve as offices, while the side streets stay residential with flats and townhouse complexes among the houses. For a flat, the floor, the block name and where the technician can park all help; for a house, a gate bell or a guard's name saves time at the gate.
What we repair in Highlands
Fridge-freezers in Highlands houses and flats are checked for cooling, icing and leak faults where they stand. We test airflow, the thermostat, fans and seals before the sealed system, so regassing is only quoted when a test shows a leak, from US$30.
Leaking washing machines are traced to the door seal, hoses, pump or tub before we give you a quote.
