Where we work in Belvedere
Belvedere lies about four kilometres west of the city centre, linking it to Warren Park and Mbare, with Milton Park, Ridgeview, Monavale and Mabelreign around it. The Harare Institute of Technology on Ganges Road and Belvedere Teachers' College are here, and Longcheng Plaza is its best-known shopping centre.
Homes are mostly older family houses on generous stands, often with a cottage or flatlet behind, and some take boarders who study at the colleges. Small businesses have moved onto the main roads, so the same suburb can mean a family kitchen, a cottage or a shop counter.
For a shop or small business, tell us the opening hours and the best time for a visit, so a repair does not interrupt trading more than it has to.
What we repair in Belvedere
We repair household fridges and fridge-freezers in Belvedere homes and flats, and small shop fridges too. We test airflow, the thermostat, fans and seals before the sealed system, so regassing is only quoted when a test shows a leak, from US$30.
Washing machines in Belvedere flats and houses are repaired on site, including spin, drain and leak faults.
