Where we work in Mabelreign
Mabelreign is an established suburb in north-western Harare, and the name covers a group of neighbourhoods: Greencroft, Haig Park, Sunridge, Ashdown Park, Meyrick Park, St Andrews Park, Sentosa, Cotswold Hills and Bloomingdale. Mabelreign Shopping Centre on Stortford Parade is the local hub, Westgate shopping centre is close by, and Avondale and Belvedere are neighbours.
Most homes are older stand-alone houses on modest stands, with the kitchen and laundry in the main house and a freezer often in a pantry or garage; Sentosa adds a flat market.
Because several neighbourhood names sit under Mabelreign, tell us which one you are in, Greencroft, Haig Park or Sentosa for example, with the nearest shops or school.
What we repair in Mabelreign
Fridge-freezers that leak or stop cooling in Mabelreign homes are diagnosed on site. We test airflow, the thermostat, fans and seals before the sealed system, so regassing is only quoted when a test shows a leak, from US$30.
Washing machines that stop spinning are checked for the drain, drive, motor, door lock and controls.

My washing machine will not spin. Is it worth repairing?
Usually, yes. Water left in the drum, an unbalanced load, a worn belt or carbon brushes, or a door lock fault are the usual causes, and most are affordable. See washing machine not spinning.
