Why Is My Dishwasher Not Filling?
Check the water first: the tap under the sink should be fully open and other taps should have pressure. If water is reaching the machine, the usual causes are a blocked mesh filter where the inlet hose connects, a failed inlet valve, or a float switch in the base that has lifted because of a small leak and now stops the fill to prevent flooding. A door switch that has not confirmed also stops the fill.
Bosch and Siemens models show E15 when the anti-flood float has lifted, which means a leak needs finding first. LG dishwashers show IE for no water. Our dishwasher repairs technicians test each part on Samsung, Defy, Hisense and all other brands; book a repair.
